The nose of this Meritage is abundant with the luscious scents of Olympia blueberries, roasted dark berries, and exotic spices. These aromas are mature and delightful. On the palate, there is a tautness and dryness, reminiscent of chalk, that is accompanied by subtle hints of crushed herbs. The wine also boasts fine tannins that provide ample support and a brief touch of new oak that adds a fleeting flavor. This is a wine that is well-suited for aging in a cellar.
