 The VV gets a touch more wood than the regular Mercurey and it adds a whisp of vanilla and extra texture to the deeply rendered dark, dusky fruit, lifted purple violet, raspberry pastille and cinnamon aromas, spicy, mineral finish and extra flash of black silk on the end.

The 2023 Rosé has aromas reminiscent of strawberry, grapefruit, Mandarin orange, white peach along with delicate kiwi and floral hints. The fruit flavors lean towards ruby grapefruit and cranberry with a subtle mineral and refreshing acid component that brings complexity and a food-friendly character to the wine.

The wine is described as having a deep color, complex flavors, and a subtle sweetness, with well-integrated wood. It also features aromas of vanilla, white chocolate, licorice, and black fruits. 

On the palate it is subtly sweet with excellent volume, well integrated wood and interesting complexity. This wine has great aging potential thanks to its complex structure.

 It’s all dark side in character – black fruit, tar, pepper and some well folded charred oak.

The 2018 corresponds with fragrances of chestnut and forest undergrowth juxtaposed with the vintage’s fruit sweetness. Layers of long suede-like tannins wrap around fleshy black cherry. As it opens, subtle traces of pepper, leather and incense pledge more to come.

The 2023 Makes Sense Sancerre by Maxence Millet opens with a fresh, inviting bouquet of white blossoms, chamomile, delicate cherry blossoms, ripe lemons, juicy melon, and Honeycrisp apples. On the palate, the wine has bright fruit flavors and a flinty minerality with a touch of salinity that adds precision and depth and balances the wine’s vibrant acidity. The finish is crisp and pleasant, leaving lingering notes of citrus zest and wet stones.

It has an intense straw-yellow colour; its aroma is intense, full and fruity, with excellent persistence. Its taste is dry, velvety, fragrant and persistent.

Kings Carey To Market Grenache is light in profile with notes of strawberries and raspberries.

With a pale straw hue, the 2022 Russian River Valley Gewürztraminer opens with vibrant tones of grapefruit, jasmine and lychee with notes of lemon verbena and light honeysuckle. Medium-light bodied with intense floral aromas, it has bright acidity with a flirtatious finish.

Bursting with aromatic white peach and orange blossom, this Rhone blend offers succulent flavors of pineapple and creamy baked apple with a streak of minerality and a bright, honeysuckle finish. 

Kumeu vineyards that contribute to this wine gave us a blend of Chardonnay that is particularly concentrated with very citrus, preserved lemon aromas and a dense layered palate with lingering complexity.
