This wine is lush, bright, with aromas of peach, apple, white flowers, guava, pineapple, and orange blossom honey on the nose. The flavors on the palate are ripe cantaloupe, peaches, Meyer lemon zest, layers of mineral, creating mouth watering texture and a dry juicy finish.
Enticing aromas of fresh herbs, fennel, and white almond, layered over crisp green apple and a subtle mineral edge. The palate offers a lively, zesty character with acidity that adds energy and precision. Beautifully textured with a refreshing finish
Mineral-laden aromas of ripe pear, lime and grassiness are followed by flavors of tropical fruit, mouth filling acidity and a lively finish.
The rich introduction is sliced with citrus tension as clean minerality and wet stones mesmerize the palate. Be entranced by a cascading display of all the layered nuances of ripe fruit help up by a crisp dry backbone.
Quite yellow in the glass, this rare Pinot Gris from this historic vineyard offers mellow aromas of yellow pear, daffodil and honey on corn tortilla. There is a pear-rind grip to the tense palate, which leads into a waxy finish, with hints of roasted nuts.
The Trobairises is a compelling, multi-layered sensory high five to the palate with great texture to boot. Salivary glands kick into overdrive in response to flavors of crisp green apple and ripe pineapple accented by the savory brightness of pennyroyal and fennel. The textural presence is perfect -- just enough to give the wine weight and body without making it heavy, a light coating of the mouth that resonates beeswax and oh what's that? Yep, salted caramel. Yacht wine even if your boat is a canoe. Or a couch.
Composed primarily of Verdelho, Albariño, Muscat, and Chardonnay, this beautifully nuanced and irreverently elegant wine shows all of the aromatic complexity and textural presence that are the hallmarks of wines grown on the limestone of our estate.
