On the palate the wine reinforces its complexity with robust and well-managed tannins, which allow it to age excellently for at least the next 10 years.

This Cabernet Franc is easy to approach with its smooth raspberry, tart black cherries and fragrant herbaceous notes.

Feudi di San Gregorio Serpico is a ruby red color. A complete bouquet of cherry jam, sweet spices, licorice, coffee and cacao.

The taste is full and balanced with sweet and soft tannins that give it a good aromatic persistence.

The 2018 corresponds with fragrances of chestnut and forest undergrowth juxtaposed with the vintage’s fruit sweetness. Layers of long suede-like tannins wrap around fleshy black cherry. As it opens, subtle traces of pepper, leather and incense pledge more to come. 

The Rosso is 100% Sangiovese Grosso from a south-facing plot which gives its riper, softer tannins than their Brunello. Really elegant nose, ripe strawberry, strawberry and tomato leaf, gentle tannins.

On the nose it shows hints of sweet tobacco, leather and spice coexisting with the essence of freshness and jam

 The bouquet is also heavy on bramble, rosemary sprig and forest floor. It is all smoothed out by soft tobacco.
